I am building a self-driving go-kart to prove the reliability and technology of future self-driving cars. This go-kart works on sidewalks and automatically navigates through a city with vision, ultrasonic, GPS, and mobile software. The hardware is built purely off of electrical components on a frame of a 40-year-old engine-powered go-kart. I am making the go-kart to go over safety practices and methods to develop fully-autonomous cars in the future as this is just a prototype.
